Voting is private in the United States.

I don't think anyone could have beaten Obama in the election... maybe Ronald Reagan...lol...
people were fed up... and they picked this man who is kind of vague and hard to pin down... the media was on his side... and he was eloquent and likable... time will tell if he gets it right...

Its an ego thing, very simplistic and childish.
It does seem to be an American trait though.

Because egotists think THEY are important they think wiping out other egotists matters.
At the same time not realising there are always 10 people waiting to fill their own seat, 5 of who could do a better job than they are.
Same goes for the people they are trying to wipe out.

It's nice to see the Republican leadership showing off their commitment to personal responsability.

Apparently this lot believe personal responsability means you find someone else to blame for your decisions that went wrong.

No wonder they lost.
