There are different rules for Jews. Remember that every generation of Jews is responsible for killing Christ. Well, at least until 1965.Switch wrote:

...and black people. I know I'll get flamed for that, but even the black waiters I know don't like serving other black people for that reason. My brother's dealt with it for quite some time.Poseidon wrote:

Actually you're right, even my father who's very frugal is a great tipper...he gave one waitress a $100 tip once a few Dec. 24th's ago.
It's the Canucks who are horrible tippers.
Obama's hiring someone to work for him. how is it cronyism? He can pick whoever the fuck he wants. The chief of staff has no authority beyond what the president allows.RAIMIUS wrote:

Served in the Hamas govt or served in the hamas militia and carried out attacks on civilians?Dilbert_X wrote:

Double standards FTL
So is Irgun, no doubt the British list at least.FEOS wrote:
Hamas is still on the list of international terrorist organizations.
Rahm never served in the Irgun...that was his father. And what is it you people always say about one man's terrorist? I guess it only applies to the Palestinians then, right? The prospective chief-of-staff himself volunteered to serve in Israel's army during the first Gulf War of 1991 - rust-proofing brakes in northern military bases, Israeli media reports.
Well, it doesn't matter at all to me, but I'd personally prefer someone who you can trust to be 100% for your country. And not have some sort of side agenda, then again, even if he was a 100% American, Jewish American, he'd probably have his side agenda anyway. All I'm saying is, you guys are getting played.FEOS wrote:

He's not talking about the IDF. His father was a member of the Irgun. There is no question whatsoever that while he was serving with them they were very much an active and internationally recognised terrorist organisation who frequently targeted civilians.FEOS wrote:
But to address your last question: If he had served in the Hamas militia, it would absolutely be an issue. He took an active role in an internationally-recognized terrorist organization...recently. Say what you want about the IDF, but they are not an internationally-recognized terrorist organization, and their stated doctrine does not include the targeting of non-combatants.

Also Bertester, bad example talking about PLO. You've made it easy for FEOS.

This is a good thing though, because it drives home the point that almost everyone in power is a scumbag.Kmarion wrote:
