One would figure the debates showed he's not full of hot air and he's actually got a plan.

this is the last i'll say on this because i think you are a good dude from things i have read in here... and i'm not upset with you personally...
i'm just really concerned with his ideas that have been proven not to work... Jimmy Carter for one tried them... it wasn't fun...

I have no problem with McCain voters (including yourself), I just have a problem with the fear mongering that people are trying to put out there.

Taxes goes to McCain (zomg), I'd expect Colorado's projection to be coming up in a bit.

I'm still waiting on Florida.  70% counted and no projection yet.

One thing: Exit Polls.
One thing: 2004.
The error in 2004 was the early polling and early celebrating.  Media did not make projections with an exit poll taken on election day.
Actually, that's exactly what they did. And that's also why they kept moving states in and out of candidates' tally...because actual vote counts didn't match their exit polling they were using to call the contests.

Or reinforce the view.

A vision without funding is hallucination.
The whole ploy was that he's just "smooth talk" with no plan. He's got one, and he proved it.

That being said - VA and NC are very, very close still. Should be interesting.
He hasn't proven anything yet. He certainly does have a skewed view of the power of the Executive, though.

It'll be an interesting four year ride.

He can choose from the the old Clinton admin and from those who've helped him along these last four years also. It's a good position to be in.

Easy, lazy voters who want Obama, just hit the area marked "Blanket Democratic Vote," or "Party Vote; Democrat"

I was really hoping that the traditionally conservative people who wanted Obama would just vote for him and still vote Republican on Senate and House seats (since we know how successful this last, Democratic Congress has been, but it does not appear to have happened that way.

Obama needs to get David Gergen in as an advisor. He's by far the most intelligent pundit I can think of.

One thing is sure.  CNN has a lot of money to burn. So far I've seen holographic phone calls, a holographic capital, a digital Wolf Blitzer, a slim Oprah, a smart Republican and a magical mathematical knowledge.

All magic tricks I say!

Oh wow, Obama is going to win the election. Just like I've been saying for the last 6 months or so even before VP picks. What a boring and predictable result. I'm glad I didn't waste my time voting for what I knew was going to happen regardless.

I assume you meant Texas.  Hey, at least we are not screaming for recounts, or claiming we are going to be leaving the country.  I still think that puts us ahead on the "My Team Is Losing!" reaction front.

EDIT: As to fear-mongering, I seriously hope I am wrong about it, because then life will be better than I expect it to be.  I just want to get some records down of what everyone predicts, so we can crack the archives open come next primary, and see how we all did.

With CA, OR, and WA...Obama goes over 270. It's in the bag at this point.

No way someone called that. Roughly 50k vote difference with 91% reporting.

What am I saying? Of course someone called that.
