Hello

I overclocked my PC, due to the fact it can barely run bf2 on low details (happy with 70 fps)...and now I actually get some reg, and killing with m16 is possible (jeeej)

that is not the problem ofc, the problem is I get game crash when entering few infantry servers for the first time, after reentering the game it is fine...then, after every round when I press join game on Chimical waib I get game crash, but I wait for auto ready, game works normally (for now it is happening only on this server)...I must admit is ti quite anoying, and if someone knows what is the problem and how it is connected with overclocking my pc  (none of the problems have occured before boosting PC)

pc is clocked for 15%, but it is tested with prime95 on 25%, has no errors and temperature is way below the limit - 30 degrees on idle, 43 with prime

specs:
athlon 3500 64   @  2.2 currently clocked on 2.5
asus a8n5x board
2 gb ddr1 ram 400 mb
radeon x1600

you need to run a long memtestx86 cycle for starters.  you're almost certainly pulling memory errors.  did you tweak your memory timings when you OC'd?

hey, sry for late response, I was without normal inet for a while so I was unable to make tests...I moved only cpu fsb, but it seems everything else is clocked too, and yeah, it seems it is memory errors   ... the 2 ram tables by 1 GB are not the same

thanks for the help m8

Sorry, late reply here too... was on vacation.

generally if you adjust cpu fsb it'll impact the memory speed as well if you don't also tweak the multiplier.  I.e., if you have ddr800 mem and start out with a fsb of 333 with a multiplier of 1:2.4, your memory is running at 800 (333*2.4=800), which is what the memory is spec'd for.  if you bump up the fsb to 400, and don't move the multiplier to 1:2, then your memory is now running at 960, which is *way* over spec.  If a 1:2 multiplier is used though, all is still well.

PM me if you have specifics you'd like to talk about.
