Theres a slight 450 million people difference heh. Our cities are not what you would call dense.Turquoise wrote:

Turq, we are having water troubles only in the temperate areas of the country. Up north, where the aforementioned doctors, engineers and quite a few tradesmen are needed, we don't have water shortages thanks to the monsoons and tropical climate.
Australia is just over 3/4 of the size of the USA, most of our roughly 22 million people are on the South East coast concentrated into a few major cities and urban centres. It's no great wonder why we are having water shortages when faced with a drought down there. People need to get out of the cities and develop regional Australia more. That said, poor water management down there hasn't helped.
Idk, maybe I'm just an ignorant Territorian talkin out of my arse but that's my opinion.
whats that aussie show say?

I think the filter was mainly to get rid of child pornography, but once it's in, who knows how far it will go, ban torrent sites, even proxies??

I heard otherwise, they say only Aborigines live there and they still use wheelbarrows for transport. I read it on youtube!1 so it must be trueThe Sheriff wrote:

M8, the amount of car crashes/stolen cars I've heard about that were the result of a drunk teenage bloke who wanted a quick way back out to a community/camp.....
A good mate of mine had his ute made unroadworthy when it got sideswiped by an abo driving a landcruiser at night with no lights on. This particular stretch of road had no street lights either...

Well, it's about a 280 million difference, but I know what you mean. Still, I'd imagine sprawling into the Outback would be difficult. Plus, you have some really nasty insects there.TimmmmaaaaH wrote:
