Just started...and this is gonna be some epic shit. It reeks a little of oblivion (thanks bethesda) and it's bugged to hell but I don't care.
I cant find the damn radio station building
I think Ive discovered every possible location all around it and I crept through endless subway tunnels and never made it.
Could someone maybe give me the directions - where best to enter the subway and which way to go then.

Vault 112 is a fucked up place
Okay, so I got to the GNR Radio Plaza...but now how do I get the Fat Man which everyone was talking about?
And how do I get power armor training?
And how do I get power armor training?
After you complete the "water of life" quest, you go to the brotherhood's citadel and they can train you for the armorPoseidon wrote:

Hmm, okay...I just completed Following in His Footsteps, I'll do the Galaxy News Radio quest along with Blood Ties soon. I'd imagine I won't get up to that quest for a while.-=]NS[=-Eagle wrote:

Fuck...I wanna find it bad. Oh well. I've got a minigun with plenty of ammo, a shotgun with plenty of ammo, etc. I beat the SM Behemoth with a few shots to the face with a laser and two frag grenades. Those things are fucking POWERFUL.SamTheMan:D wrote:

It is very much worth your while. I have basically made Megaton my home base because of it.
Yeah, I did. I didn't wanna blow it up. Maybe on my second playthrough. This playthrough I'm gonna be good (I'm a Dignitary so far), next I'll be bad, third time (if I do so) I'll be neutral.

I was so happy when I got that house, I am a packrat - meaning I have to have every weappon or rare item, so I keep everything there.
Yeah, same here. I was getting tired of not being able to carry a lot of shit because of all the apparel I had. Put it all in the locker (or whatever's next to your bed) so I don't lose it.-=]NS[=-Eagle wrote:

Now I've only got some 13 DR Talon armor I got off a Merc, the environmental suit which I got off Moira, the Armored Vault 101 suit and...well that's it.
But goddammit, I want my damn power armor! I was like "oshi, I got it!" and then the game's like "ono, u dont fgt".
Sad face.
I have the telsa armor from the enclave. 30 dmg resist but its heavy as hell. Although it boosts power weapons by ten and strength by like 15Poseidon wrote:

Is that Power Armor too? Will I be able to use it?-=]NS[=-Eagle wrote:

yea its power armor. Anything the enclave or brotherhood wear is power armor
I took it off a dead brotherhood of steel dude after thumping the giant mutant in the plaza. He was laying in the fountain.Poseidon wrote:

Hmm. I'd assume he's still dead there, so I'll go look again when I play tomorrow (going to my dad's soon, no 360 there ).Reciprocity wrote:

I'm just glad I got more minigun bullets.
Check around the fountain ( my dead BoS lied in it )Poseidon wrote:

The only problem with getting the fat man is that there is almost no ammo for it. mini nukes are incredibly hard to come by, so if you do get any, conserve like hell. Im like 15 hours in and I only have two- and they were incredibly hard to come by.
Well, the one I got had 7 nukes in it...so I'll take that advice and only use it if there's a bunch of Super Mutants/Super Mutant Brutes or a Super Mutant Behemoth around.-=]NS[=-Eagle wrote:

nah dont waste it on super mutants. The chinese assault rifle makes swiss cheese out of them. It kills super mutant brutes in just a few shotsPoseidon wrote:
