I'd be more interested in a test that can predict the likelihood of corruption in a candidate than in drug testing. Are you seriously putting bad policy and management down to politicians being half-baked? Half of the politicians out there don't even know how to take drugs and the other half should be on medication of some sort.
There was a famous vegetarian, tee-total, non-smoker, clean living politician about 70 years ago in Germany... his name was Adolf something or other.

Believe me, drugs is the least of your problems when it comes to politicians. It's not that easy to hide the visible traits of habitual drug use.
