So far it's enjoyable, but the servers aren't even online yet because Sony said they'd put them up the week of Oct. 27th. So, today if I've got time I'll play more.
Far cry (c wut i did thar) from a disappointment though.
Hands down, second best game I've ever played. It is only second to LoZ Ocarina of Time.
I'm having a blast playing the levels, and really having some fun creating my own. For example, I spent TWO hours just fucking around making a rocket powered skateboard and testing it out with my brother. I haven't laughed that hard in a long time.

I'm in the middle of building an epic castle level. It really is epic, too. I've probably spent close to 8 hours making it. Quick synopsis below:
enter -> face some baddies outside of the walls -> knock down the wall (Styrofoam) with a catapult I built (it's also a prize at the end) -> more baddies -> platform up a relatively easy, but tall, tower -> jump off the tower into a bunch of baskets, while avoiding the spikes at the bottom -> realize one of the baskets has a magnetic switch on it -> take it over to the drawbridge to use it to bring down the bridge of the castle -> platform inside a bunch -> come outside to the end
It still probably needs about 4 more hours of work to get it finished. I'm almost at 75% of the thermometer at this point, and will probably be close to 90% when I'm done. I'm also using the second smallest sized blank canvas, so that probably has something to do with it. I have yet to build on a huge level yet.

Whoa... Can't believe these forums are still kicking.
Whilst playing the beta I decided that my mind isn't creative enough for this game and playing other peoples levels will only further piss me off at how I suck at creativity. So I took a pass. Might (or will) pick it up maybe in a few months time when its cheaper. Hopefully the buzz won't have dwindled since then (If anything, it should be more)

It's alright, I guess. I don't see how it has a fucking 95 on Metacritic just because it's got an in-depth map editor though. It's really not as great as people make it out to be.
Plus, I haven't seen too many actually GOOD created user levels. The good ones I can think of are the Batman Arkham Asylum one, the Sweet Child O' Mine one, and the Mirror's Edge ones...but that's really it.
The SP/Co-Op stuff is good though, but it's a bit boring by yourself.
Yeah, admittedly, that was my first level and I wanted to get something saved and uploaded. I had no real direction and just put whatever in it. This level I'm making now should be pretty good and I'm hoping lots of people will like it and play it.

This is taking FOREVER. I'm at 80% full of the thermometer at this point, and will probably fill it to 95% by the time I'm done. Maybe I can finish tonight and upload it before I go to bed.
