How do you keep your clans/friends together in this game? Every time my group of 6 friends logs into a ranked server we get split up on to different sides. Is there some way we can keep from getting split up?

Side question: What is the real cost of leasing a dedicated server? According to the bf2.com site its $8/mo per slot....does that really mean that a 32-player server is costing someone $256/month ?!!

make a squad, have everone join it, lock it.  if things work like in 1.02 then no one will be switched.

... last i checked ranked servers cost 50 bucks/mo or something.  check the ea site

we pay almost 200 a month for ours and it shit,never gets any trafic and so on.....u want good service/hosting the ull pay for it!!
BTW we have 32 man server.

Thanks for the reply guys.

Questions: How do we get on same squad if the server has already split us up to opposing sides? What if we have more than 6 players (the squad limit)

switch teams.

if the server has autobalance on then you're out of luck

if we all play on an EA server or sumthing we jus joina game wit like 2-6 players on and jus go mec of all stay US depening on the team situation...only need 10 players to start 32 man game, so if u have 6 and thers 5 or so on.....ther ya go!!
