my gtx 260 aint compatible with my monitor, it seems nvidia drivers dont like 1680x1050 @ 60hz and make the monitor overheat, making popping and static noises, and will only run at 800x600.

So i gotta rma / sell my card and buy a 4870 before i can play bf2 GRRR

had a go earlier monitor popping and all and got on average 190fps on full detail and full AA @ 800x600 which aint too shabby!

Your monitor is busted. A videocard just sends a signal sans device identification.

'Typically' is unrelated and uninformative.

Edit: Damn, In the past 12 hours I haven't gotten one post right with grammar.

Yeah, suddenly convenient for the BF2 badass to not be able to play BF2. Really, if he was so good, why doesn't he just run at 800x600 and kick everyone's ass. He ought to be able to...

once upon a midnight dreary, while i pron surfed, weak and weary, over many a strange and spurious site of ' hot  xxx galore'. While i clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", i muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, 404.

This could be a new sig/avatar. Anyone?

EDIT: And by the way, if you only get 190FPS on BF2 with full settings on 800x600, then your PC fucking sucks.

When I read some text, google doesn't magically open and search with words included in the text.

Curiously enough, neither of the only two other threads in that search result say nothing about resolution or screen size.

Will yours only work on 800x600, or other resolutions? What happens when you change the refresh rate, and what monitor is it?
