BF2S Forums Unable to patch the game !?

I assume the following :
0.You have downloaded the patch again at least 2 times more.
1.BF2 is installed on a partition that is not your C Drive.
2.You may not have enough space on your C Drive.

If you have it installed on a different partition / drive.  Try installing it on your C drive and doing the patch.  If thats not the case for scenario 2 make sure there is as much space free on C that you can.

Lastly - try a different download for the patch, either it may be corrupt and or it could be bad.

If this doesnt help, I will apologize in advance.  If it does a thank you will suffice.

Short of playing around with registry settings I suggest you exhaust all of your other options first.

My bf2 is not installed on my C: drive since that is a 4gig partition for my os only. The patch gave me a hell of a time installing only because it wanted 1.6gigs of free space on my C: drive for no apparent reason.

If I were you I would just uninstall and reinstall the game, then install the 1.02 patch followed by the 1.03 patch.
