I am continually irriated by how little damage the rockets that the attack helicopter pilot gets to use. They seem to virtually have zero splash damage. When you used against infantry you have to hit them directly, which is insane.
Yesterday I was in a cobra on Dalian Plant, and I had an enemy infantry soldier hiding next to a building. I was flying in at him, and unloaded about 10 rockets, he didnt die and I crashed into a building. As I watched my wreckage burn, I saw him, and he was literally surrounded with black exlposion marks from my rockets, 6 or so of these marks were within 2 feet of him. Come on, ridiculous.
I miss the old days of desert combat and spraying rockets and hosing infantry. Not to say it needs to go that extreme.
I'm guessing they made these rockets suck vs infantry to encourage getting a copilot on the machine gun.
But basically the "improvement" needs to be some splash damage from the rockets.
