Don't care, won't buy CoD5.
Stop calling it WaW, makes it sound like World of Warcraft if you read it.

Just so you know, the entire CoD series are on the exact same engine.Acreta wrote:
cod4.
First off, its world war 2 again. Second, its made by Treyarch, anybody played cod3? Its a rediculously exhausted genre, even if its 'in the pacific' its the same thing, a village, thompsons or whatever. For gods sake, anybody seen the ingame play? its practically the EXACT same HUD as cod4, the radar hasn't even changed a bit, cool seeing this modern stuff around, oh wait, its WW2. Also why use the exact same engine? why not modify it a bit like 2142 did on the bf2 engine?
Vehicles. cod + vehicles = no
Its a dubya dubya 2 mod for cod4, which is going backwards.
HAHAH even has the same challenges:
I don't understand why infinity ward doesn't just BUY the rights for ALL of the games for cod.
I think he meant he wanted to see something new, like from VCOD to COD2 to COD4 same engine but entirely different games. You can tell this is almost exactly like COD4, and this game is going to be rediculously easy look at the Recoil on the Thompson if you can even see it there is barely any. The COD2 Thompson has way more recoil, hopefully the modders can fix this game because I can already tell it's going to be bad. Things I know that will need to be fixed Recoil, Perks, and Grenades just off the top of my head.CrazeD wrote:

You were retarded if you used any of the automatic weapons, the recoil fucked you up so bad unless you shot them semi.
Call of Duty United Offensive had vehicles and I didn't see anyone complainingAcreta wrote:

http://www.gamespot.com/pc/action/callo … id=6198170GS: After Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare made the leap to modern combat, it was somewhat of a surprise to learn that you were taking the franchise back to the World War II setting. What was your inspiration for this blast-from-the-past decision?
CS: Treyarch actually starting [working on] Call of Duty: World at War a year before Modern Warfare hit the shelves. I doubt that many people would have been very surprised back then, since all the titles in the COD series up to that point were set in WWII. So we set out to create the best of that genre. As surprises go, I think you will like this one.
