I must apologize to DICE as I thought they just simplified a carrier for the game. Turns out the Essex is just an assualt ship with limited airborne capacity and they modeled it correctly.
It´s also a carrier-clas from the WW2. Intrepid (The Sea-Air-Space Museum in NY) is one of thoose ships.
