We, as Americans claim that we're sick and tired of republicans and democrats ruining our country. IMO, Bob Barr is the only one, who is in touch with what we need to do as a country, to get out of the mess, that the democrats and republicans have done to the United States for the past 30/40+ years.

Seriously take a look at what he has to say about issues, and possibly consider voting for him in '08. We can't lose by electing him as president can we?

Personally, I want my country back.

Right now, this is a two party country. Unfortunately, unless there's a major political shift/revolution, I don't see things changing much.

It could happen, very easily in fact. But things have to get really, really bad for that to happen. And I don't forsee that happening.

I was thinking more along the lines of the 1917 Revolution, but the US would have to be in a very deep and long recession for that to happen, as you said.

I really think there needs to be a revolution to get back "OUR" country from the people who supposedly work for us. Hell if I did as bad a job as the bastards in D.C. my ass would've been fired a LONG time ago.

Poseidon, what/when, is it bad enough? And that question isn't meant as an attack. I'm just curious as to when we've had enough? Another great depression? Millions of Americans going hungry because we're at 25% unemployment again. When OPEC decides that they want $300/barrell?

Our stupid government just wrote a check(s) that it's stupid ass can't cash. I'm 41 years old, and the pieces of shit in D.C. just assured that I will never get to retire.

Barr is not going to win.  I'll vote for him, but I realize he will probably not get a single electoral vote.

I'm hoping that the winner will note how many votes Barr will (hopefully) get, and shift their possitions to try to attract those voters (i.e. me).

When we truly have another great depression, there will be a major political shift. The American public will finally get off their asses and do something.

When is it bad enough? Well, unfortunately, I'm not a fortune teller. I can't tell you that. We'll just have to wait and see, I'm afraid.
