Will you just admit you're wrong? Polling nowadays is much more prominent and detailed the '04 race. Bush was CONSISTENTELY ahead, and not even by as much as Obama is. And guess what? He won, in case you forgot.

"unruly crowds"????

Sounds like McCain is going to have a problem with courting the crazy 10 percenters on the far right. McCain is far too decent a person for those nut jobs. Those guys are only a half step from putting on their pointy white hats and if people in the middle get a whiff of that, McCain can forget the election. It could also be that certain unltra conservatives are trying to scuttle McCains campaign by being disruptive at events. I thnk I would just blame Fox for all the crazy ideas being put in peoples head about Obama.

Anyway peeople here love a winner and the Obama band wagon is starting its downhill run to the Whitehouse so its pretty much over for McCain.

Whut?

All polls show Obama ahead... except Fox which has a 60-point advantage to McCain.

Those idiots just don't know how to keep their mouth Shut. I bet McCain himself is probably thinking "fuck these guys" - I can see that McCain isn't as far right as some people (on both sides) might think. It's Parah Salin and the overall image of his party which has destroyed it all.

Not that it matters, Mccain is the, "Im not voting for the black guy/arab/inexperienced(aka young) I always vote Republican" vote

not that Obamas college record is much better, but Mccain finishing 894th out of 899 is a fucking travesty and you want this guy to be president when he cant even manage a fucking Republican rally? Seriously, 894th out of 899 to lead us out of an economic crisis?

TBH it is kinda hard not to feel a bit sorry for him... he's seeing his own supporters wreck his image and he's trying to salvage it alone.

Orly?  I guess you've met all of them eh?

Edit: this is hardly worthy of D&ST
Sure it is considering this is backlash from his negative campaign. McCain insinuated this and now he is paying for it. He had to state "Obama would be a fine Preident". "Obama is a family man and a good american citizen". McCain had to say that at Obama at HIS rally because his negative shit has gone to far.

THis could have been dealt with simply by correcting the first 3 biggots who yelled "terrorist" "kill him" and "traitor" at McCain/Palin rallies this week. They let it play out and now get to swallow the shit.
The insolence and disgusting displays at the rallies I've seen and heard are worthy of discussion. So I total agree. It is a sad thing that the real base support in the republican party is based upon: separation, unwittingly supporting class warfare in the labor/working class (lower income Republicans are their own worst enemy - it's fucking laughable!!!), misdirected anger, an appeal to a culture of fear, blatant misrepresentations, etc... There is little or no conservation or respectful behavior (conservative behavior) in the conservative party.

The Republican't have F'd up bad on illegal aliens. The Republican'ts build a wall stance plays well with certain crowds but in the larger scheme looks like retarded pandering inside their larger scorched earth policies against groups that tend to vote against the Republican'ts. If the Democrats control congress and the whitehouse, and if they decide to turn all the illegal aliens into citizens then they will have a sea of lifetime Democratic voters. millions of Democratic votes in a time where elections are close means the death of the Republican't party.

And then there's the economy! its the end of Reaganomics... we won't be seeing his face on our currency anytime soon/ever.

Poor McCain, he is the new JC, being crucified for the sins of his party.

Didn't you hear? They're not illegal aliens anymore, that is offensive and derogatory towards them so we have to call them undocumented workers now. They haven't done anything illegal according to several (I don't want to sterotype here but it was all) Obama supporters and should be allowed to make their lives better in the United States because that is what the United States was built on [people emigrating to the United States for improved lives]. So even though they crossed the border illegally and are working illegally and the amount of children they will produce will severally detract from the ability of the United States government to continue to provide for its legal citizens we just shouldn't deport them or not allow them to cross the border.

This is just a bad election year.

4 weeks ago I assumed McCain was on track to win.  Now he seems to be circling the drain.  He's been reduced to controlling the crowd at his own rallies.

Typical McCain supporter that gets shown on the news.

Fixed.
Are you suggesting its an isolated incident? I've seen other rallies which indicate that train of thought isn't necessarily that far out of the norm.
And where have you seen those other rallies? Have you been there in person?

I'd say the number of McCain supporters who fit that mold are probably around the same number of Obama supporters who don't trust McCain's sanity because he broke under torture 40-odd years ago and/or who think he'll immediately start bombing Iran because they saw his "Barbara Ann" rendition on YouTube.

This one didn't make it on tv.

This campaign is getting nasty and McCain has a problem with his own base of supporters unfortunately.
