In her defense, I couldn't imagine that universe either.
And I think Biden clearly performed better.. But c'mon, that's just funny.

I heard that some of the networks were using a graph showing responses from the audience towards each candidate. We had exactly the same last year for our Prime Minister debates (called the worm lol) and it was pretty bias to say the least, although amazingly proved accurate come election time.

It would drop though before the candidate spoke, rather once they appeared on screen and start to answer a question the audience would immediately nose dive or climb up on their pre-conceived notion of who should win.

I've heard that your VP debate had similar but can't find it on youtube. Anyone have a link to which network it was or a youtube link so I can watch what happened? (although I can probably guess already)

Well it's important what the Chinese think about the American VP candidates' debate.

Palin Win

I'd say about half the hands go up. O'Brien then inexplicably says, "So, looks overwhelming." Then she asks who thought Palin won. Again, about half the hands go up and she describes it as "small hands." Then she quickly declares Biden the winner and calls it a day.

Hey, how about a roll call, Soledad? Now to my eye, it looks pretty evenly split. I counted 12 for Biden and 11 for Palin. But take a look for yourself. Call me naive, but this kind of blatant bias still has the power to surprise me a little still. And for some reason when it comes to Sarah Palin, the media has just lost any connection with reality, decency, fairness...etc...

Now, does she forget that we can see her? Or does she think we can't count? Does she not know about TiVo? Or perhaps she can't imagine a universe that would allow the thought of Sarah Palin whooping up on her candidate?
I counted 13/11.. but still
It's a "win" for Palin because it was technically a draw.  Most people were expecting a mid debate meltdown... myself included.  Very disappointing....

The chicken is fine but the biscuits are really where it's at.

God, Palin is such a numbskull. I really hope she is the nominee in 2012. Also 2016.

once this election formality is out of the way and Obama is officially our new overlord, Palin will go back to Alaska, gain 70lbs., then go post partum and slaughter all her kids.  Her career is already over.

I still think the better format for debate would have been both Presidential and Vice Presidential candidates in a debate, able to answer questions either together or let their respective running mate answer a question.

But that has nothing to do with popeyes, either.
