Wow, this is some brilliant thinking by McCain. I guess, maybe, we see his poor judgement reinforced just a bit? A true reformer, he is, with the clarity of thought and prudence necessary to lead our country.

Seriously, the Republican ticket is starting to scare me.

Republicans say they are patriots but when people need money they rather invest it in a war.

Just now?

Don't forget he'll have Palin to help advise him on critical issues also.

Palin: I dunno, beauty salons?

Is that the best response you can come up with? Sound like perhaps he is right.

The Nation makes Fox News look moderate. Hardly a worthy source.

How much of this is credible, then. Are they falsifying the Davis connection?

If content of Fox News articles have to be dismissed without being examined, then why should The Nation be treated any differently?

The bottomline is that none of us knows the veracity of that connection. Just as we don't really know the veracity of the many connections to shady characters on the Obama side. So we just ignore those. Probably should give McCain the same benefit of the doubt.

"Play fair!" he cries.

Nah.

Progressives have been swallowing absolute BS from the pseudo-conservative movement for about 30 years now.  Their ideology failed.  Miserably.  Their punditry have destroyed and divided the character of the country.  Their wrong-headed policies cost us trillions.  Their optional wars cost us lives.  Their criminal neglect of energy, health, resource conservation, and environmental issues may have done permanent damage.

The movement needs now to die a quick but painful death, buried alongside Zombie Joe and Calamity Jane.  The leaders have made billions for themselves and have nice homes tucked away in Bahrain and Dubai.  They got away with it, they managed to swindle 50% of the population for long enough that they could loot the once greatest nation on earth like it was an open bank vault.

Zero sympathy.  No more "playing fair".  The we can't just hurt the pseudocons feelings, we need to make them extinct.

I don't recall crying anything. But you're not interested in even-handed treatment of both sides, and there's not convincing you otherwise.

"Progressives". That's cute. Change the name because "liberal" has been bastardized to mean exactly what the "progressives" want: big government, with the people totally reliant upon it. The secret got out and the negative connotation stuck...for good reason.

But let's ignore that...as well as facts, why don't we? Let's ignore the "progressive" majority in the Congress for the majority of those 30+ years. Let's ignore the filibustering by the "progressives" to keep laws that may have just prevented some of those things from happening from ever leaving committee. Let's ignore the "progressives" who voted for that "optional" war and then continued to vote to fund it. Let's ignore the "progressives" who funneled pork back to their districts, ballooning the debt...via the budget, which, by the way, is controlled by the Congress. And who ran the Congress for the majority of those 30+ years? That's right, kiddo...the "progressives".

Fucking blind, hate-filled ideology on both sides is about as useful as tits on a boar.

Both "movements" need to die. Neither is doing anything useful for the nation. They are both too focused on their own ideology and not at all on the needs of the people they were elected to represent.
