I think she must have spent so much time studying and practicing on not fucking up that she kinda neglected selling mccain for president.

as far as actual debate, biden did an outstanding job selling his boss compared to mccain, which is what these VP debates are all about.

She was kissing his arse the whole time, did we watch the same debate?

She is cute, but failed to answer the question too many times for me.

Vote independent so we can get a third party included in the debates again.

Why did Ross Perot have to be a one time thing?

y'kidding GS? She certainly gave herself and the Last Frontier State a lot of love, but she kept invoking McCain. "HE VOTED FOR THIS" "MAVERICK MAVERICK MAVERICK MAVERICK MAVERICK"

I do think that compared to Biden she didn't sell McCain as much, but just looking at her alone I think she plugged him fairly often (lulz)

VA and FL moreso than NC and NV though.
Yes I've seen you repeat fl is blue over the last couple of days (lol). RCP is up to the minute and they take from a variety of polls. When they say Fl is blue I'll buy it. A 3 point difference or less is a toss up.
I've said it like 2-3 times...lol

In it's current status it's a tossup, yes. It's not so much the fact that it's a tossup, but the fact that McCain has gone down substantially in states like that (and is still going down) what leads me to believe FL will be blue this November.

Well, Southern FL anyways.
I have an eidetic memory. I recall all . One thing I've learned about fl is that you shouldn't count on them.

You said Fl is now blue. Not "it's a tossup in it's current status". I'm sure you understand my confusion.

Don't you think it's a little pathetic that she couldn't even name a newspaper? I think even Wasilla has a newspaper.
Do you really think she's never heard of Time, Newsweek, etc.?  Come on...while I agree it came off horribly for her...I don't think she's THAT far out of touch but rather just vapor locked. Not the best trait to show and if you're on the liberal ticket....you've got to play that card.  Same as the conservatives play Biden as arrogant and belligerent.  He proved tonight that he can be very Presidential and I think she proved she's not a complete idiot.  But both have a bit of it in them, make no mistake but they executed their plans well.

Here's the jist of it, it wasn't a spectacular debate. Joe Biden went there to do what he wanted to do. That was sell Obama, and he did so by practically debating over Palin's head and went after McCain. The ONLY thing that Palin can get credit for is not falling on her face completely. However, if you look at the debate as a whole, Joe Biden won hands down. He held a much more professional, state's man composure. Palin looked WAY out of her league and what the hell was that part where she gave a shout out to a 3rd grade class? I think Biden had SEVERAL chances where he could have crushed Palin but failed to do so...Pity, cause it could have easily been a blood bath.

Dont think Biden meant it to ever become a bloodbath, that could have hurt the dems more than the reps to make Palin a victim ...

Don't play coy Kmarion. We all know which side is pushing the "maverick reformer" appellation.

But the McCain campaign touted Palin, 44, who spent most of the debate looking straight into the camera as she spoke and occasionally winking, as "direct, forceful and a breath of fresh air," said communications director Jill Hazelbaker.

"Tonight, Governor Palin proved beyond any doubt that she is ready to lead as Vice President of the United States. She won this debate, putting Joe Biden on defence on energy, foreign policy, taxes and the definition of change," she said.

"The American people saw stark contrasts in style and worldview. They saw Joe Biden, a Washington insider and a 36-year Senator, and Governor Palin, a Washington outsider and a maverick reformer.”

I'm sure it would have hurt the Dems for making her a victim. If Palin had a Y chromosome instead, do you think Biden would have went for the jugular? (not trying to incite argument, just a question).  I personally would have liked to see a blood bath, would have been entertaining.

So... false socialist promises even by the Republicans (I lold hard), kissing Israeli ass... the usual pre-election bullshit. And to think that for a moment there I thought Obama-led Democrats would be even slightly different. Fucking cunts are all the same. Elections with no alternative are not elections.

Well I have to say Palin has not changed my opinion of her after her performance last night. Fair enough, she did not cry, she did not freeze up and she did not do anywhere near as bad as anyone expected but she still came across as a complete greenhorn... only a greenhorn who had been heavily briefed in the last couple of days.

Biden went pretty soft on her in my opinion, he came across as a very patriarchal figure because of the dynamic between the two and I have to say he seemed to come across as a pretty safe pair of hands too. He was much more rigorous in picking Palin up on points she was making, in comparison Palin was pretty poor and when she did succeed in picking Joe up on something she managed to come across as a little bitchy and acerbic (but that's neither here nor there really).

Basically Palin is an inexperienced, one-trick pony. She is on the ticket because she is a pretty, God fearing, small town, middle-class, hockey mom... that's all she's bringing to the table (in other words "fuck all").

That is to me why she succeeds.  I am sick of my government being full of lawyers and corrupt politicians.  She is neither.  She was brought in as an outsider by McCain.  If McCain dies we may have a person that expresses American veiws and acts upon our behalf.  What a fucking concept.

Vote McCain and hope he dies, that is my motto.
