dredd scott decision was pretty bad
That's cause she's a staunch anti-abortionist. She said on the Couric interview that she wouldn't allow abortions even for rape and incest victims. I also greatly dislike her position on gay marriage... she came off to me with the same kind of tone I would have expected from Jim Crow law supporters.Poseidon wrote:

Brown v. Board & Marbury v. Madison are two major cases she coulda named...

If she had avoided the question of her own weaknesses, that's a good thing. You don't want to reveal any weakness at all in such a debate. Dodging the question may have been a thought out and logical choice of hers.

To an extent, but when you just avoid question after question than your credibility plummetsTheAussieReaper wrote:

Again it was her tone that bothered me. She actually gave a good interview.. just drop the condescending crap. Obama had some real derrr moments on O'reily.. but everyone wrote it off because forehead boy was giving the interview.Hurricane2k9 wrote:

mccain needs to go on olberman
I thought it was hilarious when she mod asked the question about whatever trying to insult them both and palin comes back with "Well that was attempt at a cheap joke towards the both of us that noone got."
and everyone laughed made me laugh,.

If he went on Olberfuhrer...oh God, I don't even want to begin to think how badly he'd be thrown around.
Here's a quote that I'm sure will resurface:
inb4Palinlovesalqaeda.Sarah Palin wrote:
Both are extremely dangerous, of course. And as for who coined that central war on terror being in Iraq, it was the Gen. Petraeus and al Qaeda, both leaders there and it's probably the only thing that they're ever going to agree on, but that it was a central war on terror is in Iraq. You don't have to believe me or John McCain on that. I would believe Petraeus and the leader of al Qaeda.
I dont think Olberman would be very far. Less fair than oreilly, I hate to admit it. But Ive actually caught oreilly defending or praising obama once or twice
No, Stewart is at least a little respectful. I think O'reily was (surprisingly) respectful during his interview. Olberfuhrer I fear is too unstable.Poseidon wrote:

Well the debate wasn't the train wreck I thought it would be

just for the lulz.

Stewart is, yes. But that's not what I'm saying.Kmarion wrote:

The reason McCain won't go on Olbermann and probably never will is exactly that - he's too unstable. He'd probably lunge at him before he could speak.
Yeah I totally agree with you, she did on several occasions outright dodge a question, this one thought I think may have been good that she avoided.Mutantsteak wrote:

To raise her hand and say gosh darn it I am too inexperienced but I promise to try real hard would have been a worse option for her.

c'mon, she obviously had talking points to get out first fellas.

The Luntz focus group had Palin winning big time (winning doesn't mean she was better). .. and before you start yelling it's bias they had Obama winning the first one.
Have no fear Democrats .. electorally Obama/Biden are killing it. And maaaan O' man it is ugly.
This showing will help Palin.. but there is just too much ground to be made up in one month. So it seems.

VA and FL moreso than NC and NV though.
It will be interesting to see where Alaska goes anyway. Repub or Democrat, if Palin has embarrassed them too much lol.

Nobody cares.God Save the Queen wrote:

Yes I've seen you repeat fl is blue over the last couple of days (lol). RCP is up to the minute and they take from a variety of polls. When they say Fl is blue I'll buy it. A 3 point difference or less is a toss up.Poseidon wrote:

In it's current status it's a tossup, yes. It's not so much the fact that it's a tossup, but the fact that McCain has gone down substantially in states like that (and is still going down) what leads me to believe FL will be blue this November.
Well, Southern FL anyways.
Seems to me that since Palin didn't have a total mid-debate meltdown that the recap news show following the debate considered her the winner. I even remember one reporter actually giving her credit for dodging questions(i'm not just referring to the "what's you weakness?" question).....Is that what we want to give credit for? When a possibly future VP is speaking to her own country should we give her credit when she dodges questions that could effect our future?
