I was flipping through the channels and stopped when I saw Obama giving a little speach on the economy. Within two minutes, I was hearing the same things from him over and over again. I know that Obama can sometimes sound repetitious, but with closer inspection I realized that what I was watching was the same 2 minute clip I had just watched. When I looked at the tv guide, I read that this two minute loop had been playing for at least ten hours, without a single commercial. Now, 8 hours later, that same 2 minute clip is still being repeated, commercial free. The title of the program is called "Barack Obama's Plan For America". Now I'm sitting there, wondering what kind of station would possibly be willing to give anyone this much time. It turns out that it's called "The OBAMA channel". Now I'm wondering if that's even legal. I know that there is a certain limit imposed on campaign contributions, and I'm pretty sure that this would blow that out of the sky. It would cost millions to run a television channel without ads, wouldn't it? Regardless of whether it's legal or not, it sure is creepy.
