I don't see why some one doesn't mod it... then everyone start playing that mod! Lol.
i play music all the time while i'm in the game. sadly, windows media player is what i have to use. every other player i've tried doesn't recognize my multimedia controls on the keyboard while in game. otherwise i can't hear people sneaking up on me, i don't like to get knifed or shocked.

Winamp owns Windows Media Player, and if the music was ingame it would be in vehicles so you wouldn't worry about knife/ shock paddles!
right as its getting to ur favorite part of the song, an AT comes out and blows up ur car!!!!!

guys, why dont you just run winamp at a decent volume so you can still hear people, but you can crank whatever you want.... works for me!!!!!!

EA was planning to put it in Battlefield 2, but they cut it out due to major lag issues. And as for me; I'm perfectly happy with no lag...

Supposedly it would "lag," well, BFV never lagged and it had pretty graphics.
Couldn't you just replace the sound files of the heli/jet/tank or w/e your trying to use with music? Wouldn't hear the tank driving but you could hear your Metallica

It wouldn't be realistic if they put non-communicational radios into the vehicles because they don't do that in real life, and there would be nothing broadcasted in english anyway.
