I love this pic. Not for the reasons most pea-brains do, but because it shows these two are man enough to not take their sides personally. They were on different sides, fighting for different things, but (hopefull) realized that they're really working for the interests of the same country and should be allies at heart.
I've developed respect and even friendships from people that I've been told I should hate. It's not entirely out of the realm of possibility.MGS3_GrayFox wrote:

He wasn't saying that he agreed with his policies, but the cult of politics interjected and forced him to distance himself from it. Tis sad.I think Ronald Reagan changed the trajectory of America in a way that Richard Nixon did not and in a way that Bill Clinton did not. He put us on a fundamentally different path because the country was ready for it. I think they felt like with all the excesses of the 1960s and 1970s and government had grown and grown but there wasn't much sense of accountability in terms of how it was operating. I think people, he just tapped into what people were already feeling, which was we want clarity we want optimism, we want a return to that sense of dynamism and entrepreneurship that had been missing.

I predict Saturday morning I'll be on my way to Gainesville (Gators Game ). My bodily functions will be determined by the amount of alcohol I consume.ATG wrote:
I predict two things about the debate and one thing about the aftermath;
McCain will whistle every time he says a word with the letter S in it and if you have a dog, his ears will twitch 278 times during the debates.
Obama will lean heavily on vowels durings his answers. I.E. uhh, aaaa, ummmm.
Americans will wake up tomorrow feeling a little less secure about our choices for leadership this time around. I predict 33% of viewers will not have solid bowel movements on Saturday because they will feel a little queasy about what they hear.
I was referring to the last part of his post, but whatever floats your boat K.Kmarion wrote:
