Medical records fall under the pretense of doctor patient confidentiality. I wouldn't want my medical records released for the public's viewing pleasure.Mutantsteak wrote:

I think there is a special case involving the leader of the country, we should see if he is physically fit for office before he is elected.SgtHeihn wrote:

If they want his medical records released then everyone's medical record should be public domain.
http://www.suntimes.com/news/nation/966 … 08.articleThe details of McCain's health are contained in 1,173 pages of medical documents spanning 2000 to 2008 that his campaign made available to the AP to make the case that he's healthy enough to serve as president, as well as to counter the notion that he's too old. The Arizona senator will turn 72 in August and would be the oldest elected first-term preside
Barack Obama has not released his medical records, and Bill Clinton never did disclose his.Reporters from all five major news networks CBS, ABC, NBC, CNN and Fox will be allowed to take notes from the records, as will wire reporters from the Associated Press, Reuters and Bloomberg news agencies. Just two print newspapers will be among the pool: The Washington Post and the Arizona Republic. McCain campaign officials said yesterday that the high level of interest in the records meant they had to limit access by reporters. "We had to do it at the Mayo Clinic and the doctors there probably didn't want 200 reporters running around," said senior McCain adviser Charlie Black. "It's not a perfect situation, but its the best available.
Then he should have a physical with a doctor saying he is good.Mutantsteak wrote:

Barack and Bill didn't have cancer four times and aren't/weren't that old to warrant such a search. I bet they would reveal them if it was necessaryKmarion wrote:

the public should be able to decide for themselves if they want to give their vote to an old man, not have to listen to a probably bribed doctor.SgtHeihn wrote:

The life a public figure is invaded enough without having your college days STD being brought into the picture. If we were going to release politicians med records, then I want to see Ted Kennedy's, his liver must look like swiss cheese.

Barack has a history of smoking. Why in the name of holy hell wouldn't his health be called into question? Clinton had a cyst removed from his chest (1995). He also had a basal cell carcinoma lesion. .. annnd he also had a precancerous growth removed from his nose (1996). All while in office.Mutantsteak wrote:
