So I deciede to make a little film of my friends and I.  I do a test run and it records fine, I hear sound fine, however the sound is being recorded at exactly x2 speed.

Sound has sped up by 50%(ish).  No idea why.  And I have not been able to find a forum for fraps help.

Doesn't do it on any other game but BF2.

Anyone?

what do u have ur frame rate set at? Do this....
run fraps and start recording. then use this command in the console to check ur fps.
renderer.drawFps [0=no, 1=yes]
Displays the current frames per second (FPS) / time in milliseconds between frames.
just move around and play as usual and get an idea of the frame rate then adjust it in fraps on the movie window to the number displayed.

If your haveing alot of trouble with that cause your frame rate keeps bouncing around u can use this command to lock ur in game frame rate.
game.lockFps [framerate]
Caps the game’s maximum framerate to specified number
this will give u a more even frame rate and wont make fraps have to keep adjusting after each benchmark.

Problems like this can be many things though. definatly defrag ur hdd if u havent already. if u have a slow hdd 5200 rpm or some thing like that it could also cause the probs u are having. as a general rule i dont record video unless im using a machine with SATA hd.

i have another problem with fraps but its that when i start it my fps went down from 60+ to 18 around there and that is laggy as hell so could any help with that?

U probally need a faster processor or more memory.

1 Gig cosair ultra low lat. DDR 400 (Dual Channel) (OC)
Nvidia 6800 gt ultra SLI (x2) (OC)
Primary HD WD SATA Raptor 10,000 RPM
Secondary (Recording) HD WD SATA 160 gig 7200 RPM
SB Audigy 2 platinum (HAven't found a way to overclock this one yet )

I am averaging about 75 frames with all setting on high.

So my system is fine.  No lag at all.

My frame rate is set to 30 when recording.  HD has been degrafed with perfectdisk.

Well one it useing some system resourses, thus your gaming performance will drop.  Since I am running at 75 or so FPS, that is not my problem.

I had something similear happen to another game (Collin racing) since my system is overclocked the game ran faster.  Perhaps that is my fraps problem (Doubt it though)

Well I cannot figure it out so no sound for me, unless someone can give me a "Hey that happend to me, here is how you fix it"
