Press SCROLL LOCK + X to bring up Xfire while you're in SF.

but how about for finding servers?
i have BF2 listed and loads of servers
theres no menu for SF
is filtering by map name the only way??

It worked last time I tried. It just opened BF2, then switched to SF and joined the server I wanted. Took quite a long time, though.
And, yeah, filtering by map name seems to be the only way.
