not a bad idea everytime you get a gold medal + k/d ratio of 4 - 1 (something like purple heart but the other way around)

Notice how there are two "mystery" medals in the awards screen, so one of those could be the MoH.

From what I under, real Medal of Honor requirements are something to the affect of the person getting the award must have done something beyond the call of duty that changes the tide of the battle or is the deciding factor on the outcome of a battle.

Maybe they can do something to where if one person has significantly more kills and/or flag captures and defends that anyone else. Or a combination thereof. Would be tough to decide as there are some many people on a server that have a hand in how the battle is won or lost. Would be interesting though. I like the idea.

IRL most Medals of Honor (CMOH) were awarded posthumously.  Meaning the heros who won them were not alive to take receipt.

Sweet! Last night I was the only one on my team left alive, our team with no capture points, and I managed to get a capture point right before I got attack choppered to death. We were way ahead in tickets, but almost got snuffed, so needless to say after that my whole team spawned and we ended up winning the round.

Does that qualify for this made up medal?

Here are some stats about stats about Medal of Honor winners: http://www.army.mil/cmh-pg/mohstats.htm In some wars all the winners were awarded posthumously.

EA have previously stated that in the game Medal of Honor: Allied Assault that you could not earn the MoH as it detracts from the amazing sacrifice of the real MoH recipients. So I doubt that it will be in this game either. It would be poor form, certainly.

Here is word for word in my copy of AR 600-8-22, the pre-reqs for the MoH..

The Medal of Honor is the highest military decoration awarded by the United States. It is awarded "for conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity at the risk of life, above and beyond the call of duty, in actual combat against an armed enemy force." Since it was first awarded during the Civil War, the medal has been awarded 3,460 times, most recently in 2005. All branches of the United States military are eligible to receive the medal, though each branch has a special design. The Medal of Honor is presented by the President of the United States, who is also the Commander-in-Chief of the US Armed Forces, on behalf of the American people. Several past actions have been elevated to the Medal of Honor based on new evidence or righting old wrongs by the President or by actions of Congress

... see that, no TKing asses get the best.
