I have BF2 with SF. is it worth buying AF and EF cos if nobody plays em then im wasting my money. unless i can get em cheap from play.com

Yes it's worth it. The scout helicopters and the new Jets. For AF. And the new attack Helos and maps for EF. Both the boosters maps a fun 3 each 6 new maps.

Sovereign-Forces.com runs a AF server. And sometimes a EF server full rotations.

AF is amazing. And there are some great servers out there, too.

EF... well... I've only played about 15 minutes of it. I'm sure it could be fun, but there are hardly any servers I've found running it, and those that do are full of dipshits, dicks, and retards.

The remaining EF and AF community is condensed to a handful of excellent servers, both US and EU based, so you should have no problem playing the boosters at any time.

Thanks everyone, i looked about on the net and found this link to the EA store online where you can download them. this link is for payment in pounds(£) so im not sure how it works out in dollars($), there could be another site for the US and other countries.

I wouldn't suggest getting it used. The boosters are linked to the account they are registered with. And, because of the way it set up, only the account that its registered with can play it, all others will be prevented from playing.

The boosters are linked to one EA account.
The one used during the initial download and/or installation respectively.

Afterwards you need to assign one BF2 account (=in-game account) which can then play the boosters.
You can change this BF2 account from within you EA account settings online 3 times per week to whatever name you want.

That means you can let your friends play the boosters if you like, but only you maintain control over it.

Yeah, well worth the purchase IMO. It's especially good for you, theres always a few servers up in Europe/USA which are populated. Look out for the =PL= and Gotland servers, they usually have people playing.

I bought/have the AF/EF combo back (box w/ black colored 2), never had an issue installing it/getting it registered, and I installed AF+EF before SF (don't ask, i got all the boosters/expansions out of order), and still had no problems. I had to re-patch like 3-4 times, though. xD
