Just played it at the Ubisoft tent at the Reading Music festival.

To put it this way. "Meh", I played it for about 30 minutes and managed to complete two of the missions thrown at me, now considering that was all the time I spent playing it don't yell at me too much at me.

It's just too arcady, I love realistic sims, but this one just isn't even if it tried to market it's self such. You look at a little box that goes red and tells yout to fire a missile, you fire it, wait a bit, boom. That's it, just repeat that for several minutes and you've one the mission. Very, very boring.

Instead I went and played on Band of Brothers: Hells Highway which was far more fun.

So its basically an improved Ace combat, uhmmm, I had one and got bored after a few missions.

I'll wait until December to start considering whether it looks good, considering it's not coming until Late January-Early Feb. 09.

Probably. They get the landscape from google earth, so I'm sure they'll be adding textures as release comes closer.

They don't normally ship with the raptor? Seems like a pretty important plane to leave out

I think the GameStop offer just meant that you get instant access to the plane.
