Rank not advancing??

Hi,

<Please excuse stupidity of question, it's probably been answered hundreds of times before>

When the 1.2 patch came out I stopped playing BF2 for a good while, but I noticed that my score was 2,578 but I had not gone up to Sergeant rank. I thought it was just a delay in getting the rank up so I left it. I come back playing now and guess what? I have still the same score! I sent a support ticket to EA about twp days ago, but nothing has come back...

I am wondering is there any problem witht he EA servers that may be stopping this or what?

I hate to say it, but you're wrong NM.

I have been playing under THAT PID for the last two days, it probably hasn't updatd because of the problems with the bf2s server, I went to another place and it updated fine.

heh that's Ok, you can say that. But I pulled your stats from the BFHQ feed, and it matched BF2s.com. You must be playing under another PID.

When I searched for your name(Duggles), I found the following:

1. Duggles512 - ( 45176405 )
2. Duggles1024 - ( 45175298 )
3. Duggles - ( 44731309 )

Those are the only ones returned.

Now, maybe that's not the right PID. Maybe you've been hit by the double-name bug (shows one name, has two PIDs), can't tell right off the bat. but THAT account, hasn't been active for a LONG time.

However, searching on "Duggles*" returns only three accounts, the one above, one that errors out when queried, and one that has 0 points.

At this point, I'd ask you to go to the profile.con file in your My Document / Battlefield 2 folder and see if you can dig up a PID from there.

Propblem has been solved ( I hope), I got the rank advancement.

At the time I made my previous post, the BF2S querier or EA had broken (I don't know which one) so I was unable to get an update from this site, that's why I went to the other site. BF2S seems to be working fine now.

THomasMorgan, thanks for the insult, rightback at ya.

I have only one account, and only one password for that. I did NOT play under another acc. name; it was actually YOUR query engine that had frozend up so I posted here because it hadn't updated for a couple of hours.
