Ive been through 3 xbox 360's because of the RRoD. My warranties fucked and my PS3 just died 2 days ago after 2 months of use but I dont want to quit with consoles all together. So I ask you all is this legit?
I know the xbox has some reliability issues....
But you have killed three of them and you took out a PS3 in 2 months.... what they hell are you doing?
What does "My warranties fucked" mean? Are you terrible with electronics but dedicated to modding, or do you just play games with the console wrapped in a blanket?
You can pretty much guess that those "Free/Cheap xbox 360!" sites are not worth it... If its less then the whole sale prices of the console you can be sure they are making money from somewhere else...
In this case you sign up with a shit ton of advertisers, some of which may make you enter into contracts with hidden fees
"Please review the advertiser registration terms to determine any recurring service(s) regarding your account with them"
This is really interesting though...
"Points are credited on a contingency basis and we, at any time, reserve the right to refuse or revoke a user points for an offer for a variety of reasons, including,
but not limited to, lack of appropriate information, fraudulent information, non-payment from advertisers or duplicate sign-ups."
So after you complete everything asked of you, they are technically with in rights to just say "No".
Likely... with enough time and work this site MAY give you an Xbox.... Advertisers pay them to get you to sign up, and it takes over 900 credits to get even a basic system. If each time you sign up gives you one credit, and each advertiser pays them only $1 per person who signs up... They are still making a couple times the whole sale price of item, They would be making good money and it would be in there best interest to keep as good a reputation as they can (by holding up their end of the deal)
So you may be able to get an Xbox360, but if it costs signing up with 900 random internet deals... some of which will have hidden re-occurring fees so you have to carefully review each contract...Getting a job and earning the money would be easier.
