the guys in boxing still get paid millions and millions while the for example an UFC contract is like 100k or so, it pays off to be in boxing. But yeah mma has been dominating recently. Also the problem is there are too many belts now in boxing like 4 different categories its not like it used to be only one belt.
Mike tyson ruined it & caused tu pac to get shot by ending the fight early by biting of part of evanders ear. That was the end of boxing as we know it, it never recovered fully from that night & I was there.
