What am I missing here, these should show as characters but instead are little boxes with 4 numbers inside.
Shows as characters for other people.
(In internet explorer shows as little boxes without the numbers)

Are you trying to view a character language like mandarin? If so, odds are your program is not recognizing them or is broken. Try reinstalling the software if thats the case.

When I do this to word it shows as little rectange boxes. Always been the same when I have seen chinese sumbals just shows as boxes.KEN-JENNINGS wrote:
