Brits how would you like it if the USA invaded you and made you a 51st state? Not too much I imagine.
How would that be any different than you guys making Northern Island a part of the UK?jord wrote:

they are the 51st state
The votes right now shot unionists are the majority. That's why people are saying in 20 years time N.Ireland will become part of the republic because they're fucking like Rabbits.Spearhead wrote:

Not that this has anything to do with the topic whatsoever. If you know about the situation in Ireland you'll know we obtained it when Imperialism was in and we've still got it now Democratic Governments are in.
I wouldn't mind joining the USAF, they have cool shitSpearhead wrote:

I don't see why they just can't go home if they love the UK so much.

I don't really see why you care so much or what your dribble has to do with the topic.Spearhead wrote:

Maybe because they've made their homes in the place, or all their family lives there? Gee I don't know, maybe it's just because they shouldn't have to.
Then why not just become are part of Ireland like all the other Brits around the world living in former colonies?jord wrote:

we're all hypocrites
Because the whole deal is that they think of Northern Ireland to be part of the UK and not Ireland. It goes back to when you had loads of Scottish/Welsh/English immigrants moving into Ireland a long time ago (kind of like Kosovo with the Albanians) and then when Ireland got independance off the UK, those immigrants (descendants of them) wanted their bit of Ireland that they were majority in, to stay with the UK. So they ceded 6 counties and made Northern Ireland, now obviously they weren't 100% filled with non-Irish folk, so the Irish people in those counties, plus Irish people from Ireland got pissed off. And then you had all that shit happening as you would.Spearhead wrote:

Throw in the fact that one group was Protestant and the other Catholic (more or less) and you also have a lovely religious conflict too.
Now what Poe is saying is that now the Irish people are starting to become the majority population in these 6 counties, so it's only a matter of time before Ireland is united

The option to join our Military, the money we give them, other personal reasons. What does it matter? There's probably a whole bunch of reasons.
Why does Scotland want to be part of England? Because they think we're real swell guys?
Derailed like a horse.
Of course but people forget about Northern Ireland all the time. Then they get mad at Russia when they invade Georgia. pfft.God Save the Queen wrote:

We're all hypocrites. I'm sure you're aware of just how awesome your Government is in comparison?

Or maybe it was on the first page.
I already explained how its relevant. Unless you agree with Russia attacking Georgia? You like imperialism? Okay then. You're not a hypocrite in regards to Northern Ireland. You're just evil.jord wrote:

Tbh, it seems like the Georgians were treating these Ossetians pretty badly and did some bad shit to them.

This shit goes back to Georgian independence, when they declared independence they bit more off than they should have.
The Ossetians wanted to be part of the Northern Ossetia bit of Russia but Georgia didn't allow it. Why didn't they allow it?n the late 1980s, when perestroika policy initiated by Premier Gorbachev, rising nationalism in the Georgian Soviet Socialist Republic (SSR) and country’s movement towards independence were opposed by the Ossetian nationalistic organization, Ademon Nykhas (Popular Front), which demanded greater autonomy for the region and finally, unification with Russia’s North Ossetia. On November 10, 1989, the South Ossetian Supreme Soviet approved a decision to unite South Ossetia with the North Ossetian Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic, part of the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic. However, a day later, the Georgian SSR Supreme Soviet revoked the decision and on 23 November, thousands of Georgian nationalists led by Zviad Gamsakhurdia and other opposition leaders marched to Tskhinvali, the South Ossetian capital, to hold a meeting there.

I've explained about 3 times now why we still have N.Ireland, why we still have it and why it's not really super evil that they still are part of Britain. I could quote myself if your would like?
