I have a bog-standard 17" CRT but I'm going to upgrade in the new year. I'm thinking of getting a 20"+ TFT or LCD and a new gfx card as well - probably the 7800GT or GTX.

Worth a thousand words -- Dual 19" Hyundai Gaming LCD's on 8ms @ 1280x1024 <3!
19" Viewsonic VX924 or the Samsung are likely what I'll get in two months...oh, and I'll get 2 of 'em. While I'd like to have a huge monitor/tv, the refresh rates are sufficiently important that I'll stick with a 19" until they get better response times...
19" DCLCD
19" Samsung 913B TFT
dell 2405FPW, kick ass monitor
running on an aging X800xt platinum though

I have the same monitor and NO lag/ghosting issues at all. However - BF2 does not support widescreen so you get a great large picture but it is streched just a bit horizontally.Flasheart88 wrote:

It's breathtakingly awesome. Bear in mind tho that this monitor, and the 21 incher, I believe, are both 16ms, (60 htz) so when chasing after bunnyhoppers at close range, for example, there's a little lag on the picture.
But I've found that 16ms is fine for 95% of FPS playing, and in this case, if someone asks why I put up with that 5 per cent of the time where my monitor refresh is just a little too slow, I look at their podunk 19 incher, and then and at my monitor (running HL2 at 1900 x 1200, for example), and smirk.
The only problem is of course the price tag.
i'm looking at getting a new tft soon too + are checking out the following.
vx922 19" has tn tft 2ms
vp930 19" p-mva tft 8ms, better at movies +other applications +not alot slower than 922 in reality.
probably will b a vp930 for me.

19' BenQ FP91 GX. I know the brand may suck, but it works fine and response time's only 4 ms.
Dell Ultra Sharp 19" LCD, Ah lahk it aloht
21" samsung CRT and I hit it hard with my fist like 10 times a day when if goes bad in BF or just like now when it suddenly lagged like hell and turned 180 degrees every now and then even when I got 50ms ping. Gotta hit something and the monitor seems to stand the most
i have a 21 inch gateway lcd.
I play BF2 on my 17" laptop and prefer it to any kind of monitor I can hook up to it.
Dual Dell 2005FPW 20.1" Widescreens. I wish I could span the game accross both but alas I can't and then again, don't know if I would like have a bar in the middle of my game play where the bezels meet.
19" Samsung SyncMaster 940BF.
I freaking love it man.

Dell 24 inch Widescreen (1920x1200) linked to a Nvida GeForce 7800 GTX
I run BF2 on 1920x1200 with all setting MAX

22" NEC Mulitsync FE1250
It's really old and dying though.

2x Benq FP737s, not great LCD's but theyre decent, and two of them is pretty neato. If only games like bf2 could be multi-display compatible so i could get a full screen map on my second monitor.
