Hi sorry if this has been asked before, is there anyway to set the game.lockfps command permanently? Without having to type it in every time I play? I had a look in all the settings folders and found nothing to do with it, just wondered that's all, will typing it into the shortcut target work?

Never mind I found the answer just now in another post- just add a new command (game.lockfps xxx) or whatever command to the bottom of the usersettings.con file

Ok I have a question- I used to use vsync to keep the fps at 75 (75hz) to stop any tearing, but it made my mouse and controls lag a lot, so I turned it off and just put up with it, I heard that when you use vsync, if you get more frames than your refresh rate, it "reserves" the extra frames for when needed (not sure if true or not), if it's true, and I make the command "game.lockfps 75" to stop tearing, would the same thing apply with the reserved frames? Well, not reserved frames, but instead of extra frames I heard it reserves some GPU power or something or is this all a lie?

Adding it to the bottom of usersettings.con worked for me, I set it to 0 (guessed it means unlimited) and now I get about 200fps, sometimes more, especially if I am scoped in with a sniper rifle- it has actually made me aim better it seems a lot smoother, I wonder if there is any advantage to this?
