Hi guys, I am currently working in South Africa, my contract is comming to an end and I will be returning to the UK in the next few months. I have made some friends (and enemies) in bf2 and would like to log into the South African servers now and again to shoot some buddies! Please would some of the UK playes test the connection between the UK and SA and let me know if they can play, I would also like to know your ping, and connection speed ie 1meg 2meg etc, so I will know what I would need on my return.

I couldnt connet to any of them, are you sure the IP's are correct?

Also whats the port address, I was just using the standard port.

I see one is full, the other has space, rest empty at the moment, just checked through game-monitor.com

I wonder if sgs survers have blocked oversease connections as we only have the 5 ranked bf2 servers. I have connected from SA to UK servers on a 512k adsl connection, kicked now and again for high ping +/- 300. I just wondered on the UK faster connection if it was playable. If you have no luck then thanks for your help.

as u said, they must've bloked overseas commections. have a look on the stats of the players, see if there all from SA

As far as I know all the players here are SA, my stats show US, but that was because I left the it as the default location and EA wont allow any changes. Damn, guess I will just have to make some new enemies in the UK!
