Try http://bf2stats.nsvr.info/ it seems to check every time you go there (or very frequently in any case). My roommate's awards and promotions showed up within the hour using that site.

I went from Corporal to Gunnery Sergeant with around 17300 points.

I also got the Vet Engineer Badge with 1900 kills and the Vet Assault Badge with 560 kills.

McCullough, did you by any chance skip the basic badge and get the veteran badge of knife or pistol first? That might be why you didn't get First Sergeant, basic badges are a requirement, otherwise you just get Master Sergeant...

I agree with Chanquad. For the heck of it, and cos I wanted to test my new unlocked weapons, I just spent about an hour on a server. During that time, I was chatting with a friend, passing him names of people who got promoted, he would check their global scores, and I would say what rank they got. Simply put, it does appear that all ranks now cost 1/10th the original.

Also, I logged on today to find I had the Far East and Middle East Service ribbons. Check my stats [url=http://bf2s.com/player/Falastur/]here[/url] and see what you think. Any ideas, or is it a glitch?

Edit: Also interestingly, I've seen several people with the rank Sergeant Major of the Corps...the rank which is supposed to be one-player-at-a-time. I suppose this is a glitch, but...

Son of a bitch! That's exactly what happened to me, I got the vet pistol (skipping basic). I guess I never got the 7 total IAR, but had the 50 total by the time I ever got 7 in a row. But I SAW it award me the basic right quick then the vetran.. shouldn't I have gotten both? That's so gay..if thats fucking true.

Holy crap. I think that might be what happened to me! But I did get my basic and veteran pistol at the same time.
