Right. I've had this problem at my house computer for a very, very long time. Here's a quick run-through.

- On this computer, I've played about two hours of BF2 over five months due to an unknown error

- I'm on a wireless connection

- I can't see servers when I hit "Multiplayer"

- I tried the computer on another network, it worked fine to see servers

- I tried to swap modem, still not working

- I tried connecting with cable from the modem, still not working

- I've obliterated Norman from my computer; there is no firewall that I know of that blocks it

- I've called my ISP, they had no idea

- I tried the local computer guy, he had no idea

So. Any ideas on what on earth is wrong here? I only get to play at my dad's! It sucks ...

Please help. Thanks in advance.

Questions ...

1) What OS, CPU, RAM, Video Card (May not be important but helps fill in the blanks for me)
2) This occured even while hardwired to the modem?
3) Have you ever tried reloading your OS, as in a format reinstall of both OS and game?

Yes, yes. You won't believe it, but it's fixed now.

The ISP-guy called me just ten minutes ago and said something along the lines of, "Uh, sorry, I did some checking on your account, and... We've had a block on you since you got internet. I'm removing it now (tap tap tap). There. It should work now."

So I restart my computer.

BF2 works!

So, thanks for caring anyway ! It's through... Thank God.

yes they charge u a lot now, also call the guy a fucking noob hacking bitch while ur at it, just put clamore on his office door when u leave (trip wire ones, not proxy or detonators)
