anyone else laugh when u hear a kid start talking on the mic? everytime it gets me. esp when they are commander. its just so out of context to the game. this fully grown man running around the battlefield with the voice of a child. and then to be incharge of the all the squads.

also i cant help it whether they are good players or not. as soon as i hear them i dont really care about their opinion on where to attack. they are eager to please tho, often they will drop supply or give uav at request so i give them cred for that.
yeah one time i'm squad leader and this kid comes on the VOIP and is talking all "Gangsta".
truth be told it was very funny and very anoying

Last night i was playing at 3am here and i joined a random squad to have a sqaud full of 13-14yr old school friends lol but i have to admit they were fairly cool and didnt do too bad they all fell over when they found out i was 26 lol they reckoned the older players tend to ignore them or try to boss them around lol

If they have something important to say and know what they are talking about (read is not just trying to socialise) I guess its ok, we all been kids once!

Personally I hate people that “talk” there way through every round. Look at the Mini Map, point out the enemy vehicles and move accordingly to your squad-leader and not much talking is needed!

i'm not all that young, but i have a high voice. i dont talk on voip because of that. lol. i have encountered some people that sounded in there twenties that just WOULD NOT shut up. he was commanderr and he never took his hand off the B button. eeven when he wasnt talking, he still held it down. it was annoying. we had like three squads  tryin to get him to shutup, he just kept talkin, never responded to us. lol i think it was on moongamers or something, he finally got kicked i think lol

Hahah, you guys don't know pain...
On our server we have an 8 year old... yes thats right...  hes 8. He is a regular and sometimes commands, he has a very wimpy squeeky voice and its so incredibly annoying. Oddly enough, he actually handles the game pretty well for his age, but still, My Ears don't need the vocal rape.

Well, here's probably the youngest playing BF2-er. My nephew is 2 and he likes cars and so so I showed him the jeeps/tanks and APC's on BF2. He just kept staring at the screen so I made a picture from it.

any player or commander gets that respect when they play as a team, even if its a lonewolf that helps out others.

btw ive been to Glasgae, you have some good beer.
Can you remember which one you liked the most?

There is the traditional scottish lager called Tennents which is usually the cheapest in the pubs and clubs. Pretty gassy, but i will have my off and on moments with it. Just now i enjoy drinking it but some times i will not enjoy it.

Most of the other beers and lagers here are just the ones you get everywhere. Miller, Stella, Bud, Kronenbourg 1664 etc...
had too many different types.
one rule i lived by is if we went to a new pub we'd always get the house beer.
now those were really good.
miller and bud are not beer.
stella is for people who think they know beer and want to stand out with the brand.
kronenbourg is so-so.

my preffered brand would be Kilkenny.
nothing beats a nicely chilled Kilkenny.

I always find it interesting when I hear the young clan members that are running the server and they sound like they are 8 or 9.  Always wondered what kinda age limits some of the clans use or how hard it is to join.

ON A SIDE NOTE.  I aways find it interesting to play with guys from other parts of the world with some crazy accents.  I am from Ohio so not much of an accent around here.  I had a really excited guy from some where in Europe  as a squad leader while I was commander and I could only make out about half of what he was saying to me.  Strangely enough he said he loved america, that caught me off guard give the way we have been viewed lately.

aaa well if it is beer beer then i am not a big drinker. mainly lager for me. Only because the majority of pubs now in Glasgow dont sell Beer of Ales just the lagers.

Used to be a big fan of Beamish Black and Beamish Red, but dont know where i can get that from now.

Glasgow pubs consits of lagers and alchopops now!

Youngsters voices always crack me up.

I played on a Japanese server once. My squadmates were rattling off in Japanese, it was awesome. I just ran with them and listened to them talk. Now, I'm as white as the day is long, and only speak English, so it was funny as hell, yet strangely cool.

Go for the Expert Single Player, It's easier than multiplayer and you don't have chopper whores or anything like that.

16 here, whilst I'm pretty young I don't have a high and squeaky voice, which really doesn't matter, considering I don't have a mic :\

i find it terribly obnoxious.  a kid is almost always way too loud in the mic...hey here's a tip ~ Drop the mic to your lower jaw.  i've also found that once they get prattling away they can be tough shutup.  generally i find myself leaving a squad really quickly if it has a prepubesent teen in it.  same can be said for that adult who feels that they have to have the mic inside their mouth to be heard.  i don't care what age someone is that i'm playing with, but if you can't use your mic properly your only going to annoy your squad.

last night i had a commander (adult) who's mic sounded like it was half way down his throat.  the reverberation everytime he spoke was insane.  i ended up switching teams because it was so terrible, and he was talking almost non stop.

that being said i don't think that this game is for children.  just to pick an age i'll say children under the age of 13.

haha nice, i put on a Sean Connery accent once when i was talking to this german guy (think he was german). i just spoke in my normal accent, and because i mentioned scotland he said Sean Connery.

Might do it more often, then there will be a rumour that Sean plays BF along with Robbin Williams
