Recently, everytime I plug in my iPod, a stupid autorun box thing comes up, saying "Camera found", then it gives me a bunch of options for editing my pictures.

I plugged in my iPod, not a camera. Wtf?

Also, everytime I plug it in, iTunes 'Backs up' my iPod. Everytime. How do I stop this?

Sounds like you need to download Windows Service Pack 2. If your on 1 it recognises it as a camera

Already got SP2.
Hasn't XP already came out with SP3? I think I have SP3.

SP3 has come out, going to the Properties of 'My Computer' ought to tell you if you have it.

See if this helps for your Windows Camera problem. From this I assume you have an iPod Touch.

For the iTunes problem, I imagine there should be a setting in the iPod settings menu. Knowing iTunes it'll be buried through four context menus and three soul selling contracts before you make it to the right screen. I couldn't find anything on this by googling though.
