Not a bad free beta game. Just wondering if anyone else has checked it out?
I play it. The hitreg is awful for me, but there's a nice variety of weapons.
yeah so far I would have to agree with your assessment. Crappy control setup too and not sure how you can tell where you are unless you have a buddy in the messenger.

Yea I tried it out yesterday, cool weapons and customization for a free game, plus okay graphics too, but the latency and hitreg is shit

I actually find this game very fun the more I play it. Anyone know if there will be more maps? I thing the CTF is a blast.

I just tried it and it's almost like War Rock but I haven't seen any hackers yet. I went into the noob servers and I owned every round. First round I did decent, second round was a melee fight and got 52-14, third round I got 50 kills which was half of the 100 points needed to win.

The stupid thing is the renting of the guns, attachments, and equipment. Why do I have to rent? It's ridiculous...
I think the cool part of renting basically evens it out for guys that play a lot vs guys that don't. So basically rank doesn't matter in this game (other than the few things you need rank to purchase). Plus it gives you a chance to check out all the guns.firebolt5 wrote:

Just had a go at it, and I haven't played BF2 for about 6 months, and that was the first time in months before that.
Not bad fun, but more Halo than BF2. Very spray and pray. Once I started to get a feel for it, I was OK but it was very luck of the draw. I was just emptying clips into guys and hoping they dropped before I did. It was very Arena style, in an urban environment.
The hire approach for equipment seems designed to level out players, but the spray and pray method means it was even (Although in a recruit level). The canny players were popping guys from good spots, so just like BF@ it was about learning the map.
It ain't no BF2, but I'd play it again for fun. I might try to get a few mates I played BF2 with to have a go and play together.

soldier front is the worst game i have ever seen.
you can dodge sniper bullets by moving left and right as your whole body switches.
