I'm staying after the credits for the tribute to Heath Ledger.

Yeah, but the thing was for the Hulk it was implemented at the end of the movie, even though i stayed till the end of the credits lol.

Without giving anything away, this is an epic film (and trust me: based on the sheer size and scope of the visuals and storytelling, that’s not an overstatement). It’s the “Godfather II” of comic book films and three times more earnest than “Batman Begins” (and fuck, was that an earnest film). Easily the most adult comic book film ever made. Heath Ledger didn’t so much give a performance as he disappeared completely into the role; I know I’m not the first to suggest this, but he’ll likely get at least an Oscar nod (if not the win) for Best Supporting Actor. Fucking flick’s nearly three hours long and only leaves you wanting more (in a great way). I can’t imagine anyone being disappointed by it. Nolan and crew have created something close to a masterpiece.

I'm excited for this one too, I've been a fan of the Joker since Jack Nicholson had a go at it. Heath's devilishly sinister Joker seems too awesome to pass up.

Comes out here on the 24th, I might even go to it opening day - although I hate crowds.

So my friend won Screener passes through a local podcaster. I just got home from watching the film and all I want to do is go see it as soon as possible on friday. The Movie was about 2 and a half hours long, and while that usually would seem like the film would end up with dull moments, The Dark Knight didn't have any. There were multiple times when I was worried the film might end, and even after 2:30 I wanted more. I'm going to see the film again on friday, just because the movie really deserves to be watched more than once. Oh, and anyone wondering how Heath Ledger did, he stole every scene he was in.

My friend heard the trailer for the Watchmen would play before hand, but it never played. We figured it was either only showed at the critics screening, or it will play with the release of the Dark Knight.
