I clicked on the custom games link in the bfhq and there are 2 versions of bf2 and bfsf ...the first is ver. 1.2 and the bfsf is ver. 1.12.There is an option to activate either as well.Can someone explain to me what this is and what happens if you activate 1? thx.

It just starts the game again in selected "mode".
For example, if you have started your game by clicking BF2 then you can start BF2 SF by selecting the "Special Forces" from that menu.
In other words : You don't have to quit BF2 first if you wanted to play BF2 SF instead...
