Parachute Glitch

Playing Kubra the other day with my STRS mates and I got hung up in my parachute. I couldn't move but was still able to shoot around like when you are normally in your parachute. Managed to get two passers by...they must have been in utter shock to see me stranded there. Took a while before someone on the other team came around to kill me. One guy from the other team just came and looked at me and ran away...I was out of bullets at that point so I couldn't shoot him and was hoping he'd shoot me, I just wanted to die but he ran away! I couldn't grenade myself or anything. Then when I went back there, the chute was still there waving around in the wind. I wonder if this has happened to anyone else. I'm always afraid to post stuff like this for fear someone else has already done it. I do a search and look around for a bit and if I don't find anything I post...but you never know. So I applogize if it has been posted...please don't flame me!

Well there's that crane sitting there too...I think it may have got caught on there or something...either way, it was an interesting situation to be in.

Did you try the Suicide button to get out of your predicament? You shouldn't have to wait for someone to come kill you. Better to take the suicide than to wait around being bored and useless.

I once parachuted down from the top of the dam, and while in mid flight a cobra flew into me. Needless to say i was 'no more', however the chopper exlpoded and I got a kill for it. Guess my chute got caught in its rotor blades

No, parachutes in BF2 just seem to have the ability to make any aircraft explode, even if it's a mig-29 flying at 900 kp/h.

the little button everyone hates to press, but sometimes has to. useful in situations like yours.
