lmao are you insinuating that Marine is lying about his service? Believe or disbelieve all you want; claiming you were in the USMC and that you later became a pilot is nowhere near as out there as saying you're the first man on the moon.rammunition wrote:

i can sort of understand the skepticism, but believe it or not a fair few people don't put on a show or their internet persona. i either give the straight up truth or (in the case of personal info) I just stay mum. and besides, what would marine gain from lying about his service? the respect of other internet people?rammunition wrote:

Can't get much more violent than that.
An observation: "political" divisions developed from religious schisms eg Spanish Civil war from Catholic/monarchist v anti-clerical socialist/communist divisions. Discuss.
I can vouch for USMarine. We served together in the battle of Karkland. Our unit was tasked with holding a bridge that was under assault by the MEC. Soon it became painfully obvious that we would be over ran. The order came in to retreat and USMarine volunteered to stay and provide cover fire for our retreat. My squad quickly withdrew to the top of a hotel in the center of town where we watched as USMarine changed positions rapidly firing and fighting until he was finally over-ran. I can still here his cries for "artillary on my Position, fire for effect" as the knife weilding sniper jumped into the boxcar with him and seconds later the radio went silent and the sniper re-emerged at the boxcar door.rammunition wrote:

My squad recieved the order to fight in place on that roof top. there was 6 of us, two snipers, a medic, a M60 gunner, and two anti-tank guys. We held the MEC off for about 15 minutes until they hit us with artillary. I was blown from the roof top and that was the last thing I remember until I woke up in front of my computer late for work. A few weeks later I saw USMarine on this website.
