I ... can't ... wait. For the next Need for Speed it is said we're going back to the roots of the series with features like open-world racing and a new highway battle mode. Most Wanted-ish sandbox style of gameplay has been hinted, too. Sounds like they listened to what the true NFS fans want.

"This year, we are [making] Need for Speed Undercover, with a very strong mission structure along the lines of, I don't know if any of you saw movies like The Transporter," said Riccitiello (EA CEO), referring to the 2002 Corey Yeun-directed, Jason Statham-starring action film.

They got their physics info from Porsche, not sure how they could do better. The open world highway racing and police chases are what's important to me. That's the bread and butter that made the series. I hope they include Ferraris again. *crosses fingers*

I really enjoyed the features of MW and this seems to further improve upon that concept. The multi player options are going to be great.
