Well this morning when i tried joining my favorite BF2 server I find that everytime I double click on a server the game crashes to desktop. Fast forward 13 hours and it's still happening, on every server. Is there anyway I can fix this without reinstalling (I lost my manual and I'm in the process of getting a new CD key from EA)?
please help, I havent been able to play for about 2 days and its really annoying
unfortunately, reinstalling is your best bet. start with bf2, any expansions, and then patch 1.41. it doesn't take that long, especially if your desparate
btw, i think someone on here knows how to extract your key from an installed game. im not sure how to do it, but maybe google can help you out.

If you wanna find your key...
Start>Run>regedit
locate \HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Electronic Arts\EA Games\Battlefield 2\ergc
Double click the file REG_SZ on the right and you should see your CD key (it should be 5 sets of 4 numbers, if you see more than that, take x9392 out from in front of it)
Start>Run>regedit

I see the Battlefield SF "ergc" file but I cant find the BF2 one...
