[Eternal Silence] Anyone ever play this?

I just installed this yesterday...it's a lot of fun. It's a mod for HL2 using the source engine (obviously) that was originally planned to be a mod for BF1942. It's got two space factions battling each other in ships, taking out each other's mini-ships called "Corvettes" and then boarding the enemies ships and capturing points from within. It's got classes with some pretty heavy duty guns (flamethrower that spits napalm that you can light up, ion cannon, etc) and it's all out generally pretty fun. Servers aren't that populated though sometimes, but still quite fun.

That looks really cool, I didn't know the source engine was capable of such large environments and vehicles.

I agree well worth it. I downloaded it and played a few rounds. First round was quite confusing as I had no idea what was going on. But with the help of my friendly teammates (even had a good sense of humour when I was piloting(well... ) our gunship with our whole team going to attack and I had no idea where I was flying to or how I was supposed to fly) I eventually got to grips with it and the next round I came 2nd .

I recommend it.

Thats a very impressive mod. That must have taken alot of recoding, and seeing as how poorly coded source is that makes it even more impressive.

"and after humanity got divided into two FRACTIONS." Am I the only one that is bothered by that in the video. Watch at :32 and how he puts so much emphasis on a word that isn't properly used

Love this mod. Dl'd it yesterday, figured out how to play with my joystick. It seems that no one wants to grab the bomber. Anyone else notice this?

That's because you really need a fighter escort, and nobody ever's willing to do so unless you get on the mic.
