Also the ratios for vehicles work the same way, deaths are counted when you die in that vehicle, not when you are killed by that vehicle.

does it count for what kit you use too?

yep, i've played against Orc before. definitely a hacker. he kept killing me from ridiculous distances on karkand, way too far for me to actually see me. admin came on and banned him, and the round was much better.

I guess it shows how effective you are with that weapon/kit/vehicle, although it would be interesting to see how many times you were killed by each of them too...

Best way to prove it...take a look at your claymore deaths. I'm sure you can recall being killed by claymores more than 34 times; thus you have been killed 34 times while HOLDING the claymore.

I think the namehacks/PID spoofers can only steal a name from an existing player, so the stats are out there somewhere...althought they may not be his own.

BF2S now filters out certain players since the modded servers/reset farce, have you looked elsewhere?

Alpha.350, next time you've got a suspected namehacker, or the guy has a funny name, but is a good legit player you want to track, go to game-monitor and check out the server. It has a new feature that has a link to the player's stats next to the player's name. That's how I caught some namehacking kiddies.

On the first screenshot, ToothlessLion simply doesn't seem to exist

On the second screenshot, that player and a friend that had left a little before were rampaging the whole other team with l85.
